Nodo is a 100% Gluten Free bakery & cafe like no other – home of the world’s friendliest donut, which are gluten-free & baked, not fried. They are so much more than just donuts though- the Acai bowls and yummy breakfast bowls are a stand out for me.
See Nodo website for all the locations, they have 4 cafes, 2 grab and go venues and 2 kiosk’s scattered around Brisbane.
Great menu with yummy food, we dined at their Southbank cafe in 2022 it was delicious and the whole family loved it, however it was very busy, and had sold out a few items I wanted to buy to take home. So I suggest go early or during the week.
The Southbank location is lovely and has outdoor seating under umbrellas- very kid and dog friendly and close to the playground for the kids to run around afterwards. Very nice to order and not have to ask the usual questions.
Whilst coeliacs have reported safe dinning at each of these restaurants, remember to always be your own health advocate and let the restaurant know your specific needs. We recommend calling ahead to discuss ways to avoid cross contamination so you have a safe and confident dining experience.

For example, how was the quality of the gluten free choices? How was staff knowledge in relation to gluten free options and cross-contamination minimisation?
