Bird’s Nest is 90% Gluten Free and coeliac friendly. If you like Japanese Food, this is a real find, fresh and healthy Japanese street food, its my all time fav take-away spot.
Think Traditional Japanese Yakitori in a vibrant yet relaxing environment. There are 3 items in their kitchen that are not gluten free (and these three are clearly marked on the menus). The staff are trained in catering for coeliacs and have measures in place to stop cross contamination including separate work spaces and separate utensils for these items.
Birds Nest also have two other stores with a more complex menu in West End and Fortitude Valley.
Whilst coeliacs have reported safe dinning at each of these restaurants, remember to always be your own health advocate and let the restaurant know your specific needs. We recommend calling ahead to discuss ways to avoid cross contamination so you have a safe and confident dining experience.
