Vego’s is a unique concept in a crowded fast food industry – a collection of some of the best vegetarian street food offerings from cultures all around the world, all offered in the one place. At its core, six sensational Vego’s burgers deliciously complemented by freshly cooked fries.
Founder Mark Hughes initially had the idea to start up a vegetarian fast food outlet sometime early in the new millennium, but the product just wasn’t available. The burger patties of the time were a mushy mix of potatoes, peas and corn – appealing to hard core vegetarians but not to the greater population of hungry hoards.
Fast forward two decades and the plant-based food industry has bloomed. The veggie patties of today are delectable, protein-rich morsels that look and feel like regular burgers but (we think) have a better taste, and most importantly, are better for you and the environment.
